Izaak Walton Inn XC Ski Report
Sat. March 24
18 km freshly groomed this morning, with a packed powder corduroy skate lane and an excellent set classic track.
1 inch new snow
12-20 inches over last week!
26 degrees at 9:30am under partly cloudy skies.
Surface is clean, coverage is good, with a 14 – 55 inch base!
River Trail is groomed today, though it is punchy and best for classic skiing.
Best skating is on Pileated, Towering Pines, Essex Creek Trail and Highline.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the first annual Paintball Biathlon.
Please accept my apologies for our failure to get the results figured out.
